​Dance It Out

Our performance group has grown tremendously over the past 2 years. Along with this growth comes changes. We are changing the name of the Performance Group to the Select Ensemble. This group will be invited into the group by audition only. There will be two levels based on ability, dedication, and performance skills. We will select 5-7 members for each team.

The purpose of the Dance It Out Select Ensemble is to provide students with an opportunity to participate in an activity and develop sportsmanship, character, dedication, performance skills, and teamwork. Members must show determination, dedication, and desire to be a productive member of this team.

Students must have 2 years of dance training (unless invited by an instructor) and minimum age of 7. Each student must be enrolled in Ballet and Hip Hop during the summer (2) and during the full year. It is highly recommended that any dancer who wishes to audition continue to take classes during the summer. During the audition, the dancer must demonstrate flexibility, coordination, ability to learn choreography, dedication, willingness to try new things, and performance skills. Our first performance will be about 6 weeks after the start of the new dance year so it is very important to stay in shape.
